A group of Grace King High School seniors experienced two commencement ceremonies this spring.

Just a few days before they participated in their high school graduation on May 20, eight Grace King High students received their Certificate of Technical Studies (CTS) credentials at Delgado Community College’s Spring Commencement on May 17. Delgado’s Dual Enrollment program enables high school students to take courses for college credit, preparing them to enter the workforce or to continue their studies at Delgado or other higher education institutions and earn a degree. Fifteen high school students from Grace King High and Warren Easton Charter High received credentials.
