It was anything but an ordinary end to the week for Marrero Middle student Corey Fluker. JPPSS Superintendent Dr. Cade Brumley surprised the seventh grader Friday morning with the news that they would be spending the morning together. Dr. Brumley attended classes with Fluker to learn more about our district from a student’s perspective. Spending a day shadowing a student is just one of the strategies outlined in his plan, Love to Learn; Learn to Lead: A 100-Day Investment for a Stronger JPPSS.
